voting
So I'm supposed to be writing a paper right now and I'm in the process, but I had to get something off my chest first that my paper sort of brought up. I was watching the Today show today and they were talking to a group of undecided women voters (mothers I believe) and this one women said, "I'm just so undecided I may not even vote." As soon as I heard this I wanted to scream and shake the woman! I just think this is one of the most ridiculous things and absolutely maddening. It is your civic duty to vote and if you don't then you have no right to complain about anything that is related to the government, and in some way that is just about everything. I don't think people have a right to vote, but an obligation to vote. I don't care who you vote for or if you write in Kermit the frog, but vote! There is little to no excuse in this day and age to not vote, and as you can tell I have basically zero tolerance for not voting...I think it could be a deal breaker.
